NGD: sort of, Jackson content

So awhile back I got this DKMGT from snoogles, knowing it needed a lot of work. Also some of the flame veneer had been sanded though in spots and the body was pretty much raw.

I bought some stain, aerosol lacquer, sanding sealer, wood filler etc. also needed more shielding paint, gloss black lacquer, sanding and polishing papers and compounds etc.

The body had almost all the hardware but no electronics so I got it for a deal. I had been thinking for awhile how I still like the EMG's these came with but needed something more versatile.

I have 2 blackout equipped guitars but sometimes I still like the 81 a lot. So I rounded up an 89 & an 81tw with a 5 way super switch to split them and give me humbucker plus great single coil tones. I'm not a fan of tone controls so I threw an after burner in there.

Anyway some pics:

I know the smudges on the back, I splattered some solder and need to polish it out. Also I wired the damn 5 way switch backwards and have a slight buzz in the neck, probably the truss rod needs some adjustment, but I strung it up and it plays great so far.
