Yesterday I completed the assembly of this partscaster, made with leftover and forgotten pieces I had around at home for a long time.
I think the body is an old Squier from the 90s, the neck is 10 years old, never used, it was for a telecaster project I've never done, I had to route a bit the neck pocket to accomodate it. It was a mess before I spray painted, several coats of White, a couple of transparent.
The bridge is from a 80s MIJ strat, unfortunately there is a broken tremolo arm inside, so, although I put all the 5 springs and stuff, it acts as a (almost) fixed bridge.
Neck pickup is a SD SSL1, bridge is a Tonerider A2 paf like, 250K pots, there is no center pickup, so the 4 way switch is 1 HB, 2 full HB + Single, 3 split HB + Single, 4 Single. In position 2 and 3 is very close sounding to a Jazzmaster, don't know why.
This girl sounds and resonates beautifully, a long sustain I didn't expect, I'm quite happy with the result
