Its been jsut over 8 years since i got my first electric guitar! My Faithful Epip SG Custom, has been great to be over the years, but its a ass to play frankly. Its heavy and big, and i don't care much for the thicker humbucker sound right now, my tastes in music have changed, and i'm much more draw to blues and jazz, than i am to hardcore/ post-core where as you know, the SG dominates the scene haha.

Anyway i got this guitar and the new Fender ABS Black Hard Case for £400 which is like $650 in US.

The Guitar was £309/$500 and the Case made up the rest. I got £80 off the case and £50 off the guitar. I think i got a good deal, it played way better than the MIM's that i tried.

Heres a rubbish picture, but i'll get some nicer ones later! :)

it plays pretty fantastic, i need to get some Fender Strap locks, a new strap and some .10s/.11s its got what i think are .9s on now, and they are a little weedy :)

Waiting until payday to pick up a Fender HotRod Delux as well, so playing through my little marshall right now and its so awesome :)

I'm so happy :)

Nice, always great to see NGD's that make people happy... cool guitar too. Should sound even better through the Fender amp when you get it. Enjoy.

Re: NGD-Squire Thinline Classic Vibe Telecaster

I usually use 10s on all of my guitars but I had to go with 9s on my thing line for some reason. 10s just didn't sound right but the 9s were fantastic.

The simplest remedy for weediness would be a set of compensated brass bridge saddles. Ideally, a complete new bridge. American pickups and electronics would help too.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting me one of those... I've had good luck with Squier's before and after a few mods they sound great!
