Another great thing about the golden age of gear - for anyone, there's a neck out there that suits them perfectly.

I love the neck on the Axis. I don't think it's changed from when it was the EVH sig. My Warmoths have the same 1 5/8" nut width but the profile is the 1" thick boatneck so the narrower profile works perfectly for me there. A typical Fender C profile needs to have a 1 11/16" nut width for my hands.

I am thinking the neck profiles are pretty similar from what ES is saying, shop has one on order I am interested to compare them if I get a chance

hehe weill I couldn't find anyone that made a Paisley guard for it so I had no choice, did the backplate too

I used it in earnest tonight and it was really good I even liked the JB in this situation. I was rehearsing with my friend's Aero trib, I'll be filling for a couple shows end of Feb and it fit the bill perfectly.
