NGD: Sticking with what works for me

PC I used the media button on the tool bar. It is pretty cool it figures out your source and optimizes automatically

Couple of impressions/observations from playing the KM at practice today. It is heavier than the Omen, swamp ash vs basswood. The guitar stayed in tune the entire practice, stock locking tuners, I have never played the Nazgul/Sentient set before these pickups are keepers. There are a lot of upgrades on this guitar including stainless steel frets and Graphtec nut that many of us have said should be standard on most guitars. The guitar plays and sounds amazing.

its good to know what works for you and sounds like this is right in your wheelhouse!

Well, my guitars are all over the place from ES, Tele, and tons of oddballs in between. These Shecters are perfect for this metal gig and are the first guitars in a long time. I can't think of a single thing that should/could be done to them. The LTD I just bought already has a pickup swap, and I am looking at new tuners. I love the locking tuners on the KM, I could put a set on the Omen. I have not had any issues with tuning stability, and I don't like to fix problems I do not have. Yeah, it is nice to have something I can grab off the shelf, and it is ready for me to play.

Excellent guitar, Bruce! I have the KM6 which comes with Blackenend Black Winters instead of the Nazgul/Sentient. Mine is in white. Great guitar. Although, I do like the Nazgul/Sentient combo a little more.

I had a guitar with those fret markers before. If you perform with it, keep a small flashlight in your guitar case and 'charge' them for a few seconds every break. They don't glow for very long, certainly not enough for a whole show.

Whoever had this guitar before me had extra heavy strings on it. I play extra lights. My E-A-D were rattling in the nut. I just put in a new Graph Tech which is what this guitar comes with and the slight rattling and buzzing is gone. This guitar is a dream to play. Can't wait to take it for a spin at practice tomorrow.
