Man, that is a really sweet looking axe. And for ~$1400 I bet you can't beat the true custom shop treatment and feel. Every aspect of that guitar is calling to me. Screw a custom Jackson, that looks like a better deal.
Instead of a push/pull pot to switch between the humbuckers and single coils in those pickups, did they just get wired to the 5-way? Clever idea. Your video demo better be up soon, as soon as you can put the guitar down long enough to set up a camera... And was this a christmas present?

I'll see if Will would be down for a guest luthier bit... would have to clear with Evan first, I'm guessing?

It was originally going to be a vol + 3way, but splittable EMG's can't be wired to the same push/pull pot, unfortunately. Thus, the 5 way. I prefer the look and feel of 3 way switches, and will have it on my next axe I'm sure, but I like the versatility this provides, even if I don't use the split bridge that often!
It was actually originally a high school graduation present to myself... wait times and spec changes turned it into the best Christmas/birthday present I've ever gotten, and it was nice having it all payed off in September!
