Yeah, this is my 5th Gibson and none of the others came with this tool. I was surprised when I opened the goodie bag. And I don't know what I will do with two extra truss covers. My GF thinks I should put on a custom cover that says "Opps".

Sell 'em to Chinese manufacturers. They seem to have real issues duplicating those pieces of plastic for some reason.

The other cool thing which I got with my last Gibson is they put a picture in the case of the final QC check. It is like baby's first picture.

Not quite but it smells damn good.

The case is worth $400

Seeing what I paid I hate to say this. I am very disappointed with the case. My other Les Paul cases are beautiful, this is all ABS plastic. It reminds me of the old chainsaw cases but with much better hardware and a handle. But hey I can't complain this is a happy day.

I don't know man... I'd return it, cause that control cavity cover's fit doesn't seem to be perfect. You deserve better on a 3 grand guitar.
