NGD - The most special one I've had....ever.... (PICS)

Acoustic guitars are especially great because at some point in the next few years you'll pick up your acoustic guitar and notice how much it has opened up.

I'm really looking forward to that. I'd noticed that happening in my other guitar over the last 5-6 years or so, and given that this one sounds good and has barely left the store, I can't wait to play it in 10 years!

This thread has me jonesin for Gibson acoustics, since I'm so used to Martins, having played those for the past 14 years.

Since I have no delusions about spending money on a Gibson acoustic right now, I may spend more time on them in music stores, just to satisfy that itch.

If there's one thing I like about Gibson acoustics, aside from their distinct sound, it's the styling. I love sunburst acoustics, and all the styles Gibson has.

The itch is hard to scratch my friend, very hard. You'll find that most of the Gibby's have a very, very different sound than the Martins. Which Martins do you have? (You'll have to forgive me, going off topic in my own thread, but having done so much research, I'm curious about what people have, lol)

Congratulations on the degree and on the new Gibson. It really is a beautiful guitar. Your appreciation of your parents' support and all they have done for you even before this gift says volumes about you.

Rock on!

I'm sorry, I didn't read your story cause I'm exhausted (and lazy ^^) today but this is a GREAT guitar.
