Well while at the shop with the Epi
I decided to make the shop crawl

Swung by a shop I had been in back in the spring
Last I was there he said he could order the Custom Gibson
that was marked as an exclusive of an online retailer

Well.it was had just arrived this week
And it was in Reptile Green



It has the Maple neck and swamp ash body
A carve at the heel
A master volume and tone
The switch is down with the knobs so it doesn't get smacked when picking




I won't be messing with the knobs anytime soon

That ash is beautiful and light

That is sexy as hell. It the logo silk screened or MOP? Either way, it is a beautiful axe

It appears to be silk screened under thin satin clear

It is super light . Not Les Paul heavy at all.

It comes with double slug pickups and no coil tapping at all

No real fond of the tone pot sweep either

It seems dark and shades of darker

...but yours, what is that? QUARTERSAWN ash or something??? I cant remember seeing such straight parallel lines on ash

looks much lighter than mine too
mine looks almost black at club lighting levels

Congratulations with your new guitar ehdwuld! I like the features on it! Carve at the heel must be comfortable compared to a regular LP without it.

it needs strap locks
almost dropped it at a buddies when the strap popped off

also have a set of black planet waves auto trim locking tuners setting round

As to auto trim, thats overrated. Buy tuners for being solid and wellmade, not for gimmicks. Pliers or wire cutters cost 99 cents at the dollar store, you know?
