My Schecter Damien Elite 8 is red quilt. It's a beauty too.

Congrats!!! Nice axe!! Ditto on the red. I normally dont like red either. Wanted a black LP. tried a bunch of different ones and they had a wine red one that just sounded amazing.. fought myself for 2-3 days on the color, but couldnt get the tone and playability out of my head. so I said to my self: "self, if you go back today and it's still there, you must get her.." So, went back and she was. (although she had a coupla scuffs from other scumbags molesting her). But even with the scuffs, I couldnt deny it... Mine is reg trad pro tho. Wish I had the cash to score a trad pro II

Great story. The Schecter made me appreciate all colors. That thing is awesome too. I played so many LPs, all nice finishes, but when I played this one I was like this is it!

I love that Merlot finish. I wish I had snagged one a few months back. I did get the Trad Pro II with Floyd Rose earlier this year, and it just may become my #1, dethroning my 1979 LP Custom.

Thats funny, when I got mine it dethroned my 81 Custom.


I love that Merlot finish too, just wish the flame top on mine looked as good as the OP's, but I had to settle for the one that didn't look the best to get the one that felt and sounded best

Hey guys. This is my first LP and it dethroned my #1 6 string which is an EBMM JP6. Killer guitar, I got lucky with that top. They had two Trad Pro IIs and the other was black so I was like.. Merlot! lol

They have a trad pro 3 now that I just saw

Yeah I saw that. The price is hiked up, it has the G-Force on it and the fret ends are over the binding. I'm definitely interested in those Alnico III pickups though.

I got one of the ebony trad pros when they were blowing them out for $1200 a couple years ago, planning on flipping it. When I got it, I fell in love and it became my number one. I really didn't want a black one but it grew on me and I would be hard pressed to give it up for anything less than a Historic at this point.

Nice enjoy it. I do not like red guitars but really like the Merlot finish. I bought this one last year but had to sell it for medical bills.

I love the ebony LP too but that merlot practically slapped me in the face lol!

I'd like an ebony with chrome hardware and cream plastics with zebra pups. I'm seriously thinking that the 7 string LP Classic will be my next guitar.
