Figured I'd formally introduce the 2 leading ladies of my arsenal:

'05 and '07 Godin Detours. Silver leaf maple center block with poplar wings. Maple neck/rosewood board. Hardtail 24.75" scale.

'course the stock pickups went as soon as I received the guitars.
Actually took 2 weeks longer than the process should have. My package from Musician's Friend effectively got stuck in New Jersey at the height of Hurricane Sandy. They made it to me safe and sound though. I'd call these my hurricane guitars!

Silver: SD Pearly Gates neck/DMZ Fred bridge
Grey: SD Jazz neck/DMZ Super Distortion bridge

Obviously the two sound completely different. I'll be doing a comparison video with cleans, riffing, chording, soloing and whatnot. Stay tuned!

Sweet man, those are really excellent-playing guitars. Made in Canada too, eh!

Congrats man :fingersx: , I love Godins , I have one too :naughty: .

So what ya pluggin them into ?

I plug into various amps with my LGXSA : 60ThBay.jpg .

Tube - Hybrid tube Solid State , and Vintage Solid state for the guitar side

And - -

Since mine is synth ready I plug into stereo power amps for the synth sounds and run a modeler for the electric on occasions and also use a stereo power amp .

Easy man have fun :
