darn. was a good thought. ive seen it done with hand drills. in the end i may collect everything assemble it all then have a shop install my tremolo.

I have that dremel drill press. Its cool and useful on small objects but it won't reach the bridge hole locations on a strat, I just checked.

Sorry, my bad. I didn't think to check that before I made the suggestion.

The drill guide won't have that problem, plus has the advantage that you know it will be perpendicular to the front face of the guitar regardless of what shape the back is.

Got a decent squier affinity neck for this build. figured since its my first build I wouldnt go all out on it lest i screw it up. which is likely. maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.

Got the decals on today. how does it look? i moved the fluer de lis out a bit so it wouldnt be sitting under the trem when it goes on.

decided on going a completely different direction with this build. It will still have the Fight like a girl decal on the front. trying to decide if i think the wilkinson makes the strings sit too close to edge of fretboard.
