NGD -why are people trading stuff in at GC?

NGD -why are people trading stuff in at GC?

Every now and then GC does purge used gear too.
I had been looking at an Alvarez WY1 Koa that was $1,200. The next day it was dropped to $700 and sold before I made it back in. Same with a G&L USAS-500. It sold for $400 after sitting at $649 for 3 months.

Pawns around here give 15% and tag
music gear for nearly MAP.

I specifically stop in at GC's to check out used gear. In the major cities, you're more likely to run into stuff that's better than what GC normally stocks new. And if it's not high end, then it's dirt cheap.

Here's some of the gear I've gotten from GC's used section.
1971 Marshall Superbass JMP - $650....turned out to be Derek Frigo's amp sold for crack.
.

I know it's been six years and you haven't even logged in for a year, but just in case, I would looove to know more about this head. How did you know it was his, for eg?
