Re: NGD! Would you ROCK IT?

You don't need a guitar stand for it; just hang it on a coat hook.

Re: NGD! Would you ROCK IT?

I'd buy that for a dollar.

been curious how the string design works out on this one. read a lot about how NOT to stretch the strings too much when changing. lol! will be interested to hear more when you are done giving it a proper shakedown.

Re: NGD! Would you ROCK IT?

I bet if you break a string at just the right angle, you could shoot one of those string heads off the front of it with enough force to kill a small forest mammal.

I'd stick some Trijicon sights where the tuners are supposed to be if I were you.

Not my cuppa. I picked one up though, and ya really couldnt tell it was a budget guitar- looked expensive.

I know what you're sayin'. Maybe like this,

Re: NGD! Would you ROCK IT?

Yeah - I'd probably hang a stuffed animal outta the hole at the headstock.

Re: NGD! Would you ROCK IT?

I've got an Aerosmith DVD in which Brad Whitford plays a blue Floyd Rose Strat'o Copy.
If you like it and it rocks is all that matters.

Since this is an opinion based thread,...
...if someone gave one to me, I'd sell it and put the money toward something else.

The headstock and pickguard look like complete sh#t to me.

Heck, if the pickups are good

Nah.

Re: NGD! Would you ROCK IT?

If it sounds good and plays well, why the hell not? It's got at least one thing going for it - for a strat copy the volume knob is not obnoxiously close to the bridge pickup!

Re: NGD! Would you ROCK IT?

I would not.

How long before Floyd stops making speedloader strings? and then what?

That is a major concern. I was told Floyd has already discontinued making them. I can still get them but they're $13 a set. I've got thirty days to think about it. I do think there are enough of the Speedloaders out there that someone will make strings for it, who knows?

Re: NGD! Would you ROCK IT?

I'd play the hell out of that. Looks cool with the headstock that way.
