The body is mahogany with a flame maple top. The pickups are Seymour Duncan, 59 neck and JB bridge. I'm not a fan of the JB and I'll be replacing it with something with a little less output.

Re: NGD

It's like my ASAT Deluxe, same color but mine is a 4-bolt with the DFV, and I have a RW neck with a lot of 3-D birdseye on the back.

Ain't we a pair? Gorgeous! Congrats!

Re: NGD

That's one of G&L's coolest humbucking guitars. I had the strat shaped version of it with JB/Hot Rails. For some reason the Treble/Bass circuit in it bugged me, so I rewired it conventionally.

I had a few different Duncans in it, and ended up with a 59B. If I were you, I'd install a C/59 Hybrid in the bridge....either the std or TB version, which ever spacing it is.

Re: NGD

JB's don't always love mahogany, or at least that's what I hear a lot so ,good call on a swap. Very beautiful guitar btw, congrats.
