Too tired for pictures or a long post. It sounds like something you'd put in a sandwich though.

Re: NGD

:laugh2: nice ones!
Xssive wins it though :) I got me a Mayones Setius GTM6. Pretty much the exact opposite of what I like: all Mahogany, no inlays, JB at the bridge, a tune-o-matic, a thin, wide neck (43mm nut)... and yet it sounds UNBELIEVEABLE and plays like Jesus. I'll post pics later.

To be fair this was very much helped by the AMAZING sounding Hughes and Kettner Grandmeister 36... yikes what an amp...

Re: NGD

Congrats!! Never played a mayones. I like the Tubemiester series when they came out, but the vids for the Grandmiester look absolutely UNREAL! Was wondering if they were that good for real..??

Pros:
Great build quality for half the price of equivalent US guitars.
Superlative tones. Seriously, sounds HUGE.
Price.

Cons:
A little feature 'light'. No locking tuners for instance, and no 'pro' level hardcase you'd expect out of an instrument of this quality. I got given a Warwick rockcase with it.
The Regius' headstock is a lot more attractive than the Setius' :)
Push-pull + 3 way switch instead of the 5 way switch I have on Musicman for instance. I much prefer the 5 ways. Maybe something to re-do someday

Re: NGD

This was €1.4k, including a €100 discount. The Regius is €2.2k I think for the lesser models, which I do not view as an upgrade since I prefer bolt-ons.
This was cheaper than an ESP Eclipse, and about the same price as a PRS S2, and was by FAR the superior guitar. I wanted another MusicMan but in Europe €1.5k doesn't buy you anything there.

Re: NGD

Merci y'all :) I'll try to play her more. Honestly I have rarely had such a sweet sounding guitar. Resonant, balanced, HUGE sounding. And that's with a JB, a pickup I used to really dislike!

Re: NGD

She does! I didn't find her all that attractive at first to be honest, but the playability and tone are out of this world. All for half the price of a US high-end guitar :D

It's kinda weird... she's not a bright guitar. All Mahogany, a lot of mids, but not overly bright. With the JB however it seems pretty spiky... I'm not used to bright pickups like this.
