The longer I play guitar, the more and more I appreciate satin finishes. My Martin 000-15M has that and while the guitar started off sounding good, it just keeps getting better as I wear it in. I've had so many poly guitars that didn't do that and while some people who like "pristine" instruments won't appreciate it, I like the character it gets when it wears.
For all of those haters out there that argue that a good USA instrument can't be had for under a grand just look at this Fender. This is proof that you don't have to settle for a Korean or Chinese instrument at that price point. You've done good Lazarus!
