Ladies and gentlemen... boys and girls... children of all ages...
What's up guys and gals. It's been awhile. I've been taking a year or so hiatus from the music scene. No guitars, bands, gigs at all. To say I was Completely burnt out, was an understatement. But that's all a different story for a different time...
Last week, I was looking on the net for some last minute Christmas ideas, when I decided to get on the "bay". Just for S&G I decided to look for some pieces for my sons guitar I'm building... it's a graduation present for when he gets out of high school. He's only a junior, so it's a slow journey... when a guitar caught my eye. A Near Mint condition 2011 Fender Highway One Stratocaster w/ case and candy for a buy it now of 750 or make an offer, all with free shipping... upon closer inspection, I discovered it had one of those TSA cases that fender had a few years back. I immediately closed the window...
Over the next few days, this dang thing was all I could think about... ugh... another guitar... I tried to rationalize that I didn't need another guitar... But, I always wanted one of these... But I have way too many now... but I always wanted one of these... I haven't played any of them, minus one, in forever... but I always wanted one of these... We haven't played or practiced in forever... but we're getting together after Christmas... AND I've always one of these...
Needless to say, I got on and made and offer... what could it hurt? If they don't except, it just wasn't meant to be. Keep in mind, when making offers, I don't counter. If you don't take what I offer, I walk away.... *text alert* offer excepted, please pay now.... Hmmm. I'll be damned...
Three days later... and because I've bored you all enough... this was sitting on my porch...
and after looking this thing over from top to bottom... this is the ONLY mark I could find, that I would consider making it "Near Mint"
That's in relationship to my thumb. Anyway, Thanks for looking!
