Nickel Duncan Covers on Screaming Deamon?

Hey all, I was wondering if a regular nickel Humbucker cover from Seymour DUncan will fit a regular spaced Screaming Deamon. If so, will it interact in an adverse manner with the hex polepieces? Thanks for the info, everyone.

i think itll work fine but with those pole pieces itll look a little funny

Cool, thanks Jeremy. BTW, I plan on putting the screw polepieces thru the holes and having the hex polpieces screwed into the pickup's body and covered, it should look like a traditional humbucker right?

Re: Nickel Duncan Covers on Screaming Deamon?

I think I remember a topic about using a strip of masking tape to prevent the slugs (in this case hex poles) from contacting with the nickel cover creating noise/feedback/squeal.

the screaming demon is potted already i think

You're right, it does come potted, but this is for my little bro's guitar and I'm adding a metal cover. So: metal cover+high gain/volume - wax potting= screaming feedback. :burnout:
