Nighthawk Custom Reissue wiring mod

I've been looking for a way to accomplish a mod to my Nighthawk that would not require adding another switch or push/pull. Here's the description of the guitar as it is then I'll describe the mod I have in mind:
  • HSH guitar with a master tone (push/pull-coil split) and a master volume control. It has an import 5-way switch with standard selections: 1-B, 2-B+M, 3-M, 4-N+M, 5-N. The tone control splits both humbuckers at the same time. See attached photo.
I have a mod for it in mind that I've not been able to figure out myself or find online. What I'd like to do is make position 3 always be neck + bridge in parallel whether split or not, while keeping positions 1,2,4&5 as they are. With the the tone knob down I'd have B + N humbuckers in parallel and with the knob pulled I'd have coil split B-south + N-north in parallel. I'll lose the use of the middle pickup by itself but I'm willing to give that up for the B + N sound.

Can I achieve this with my existing setup or do I need to use a super switch?

welcome to the forum!

youll need a super switch to get b+n together if you want to keep the rest the same

The easiest way to achieve this (to me) is to do the 7 way strat mod. I use a push/pull pot to turn on the bridge pickup no matter where the 5 way is set.
