2 weeks late. Woops haha. Test? So ur still working on it? Did you go with all power chords except for an open G on the chord part? I'm thinking that part might be a bit more open chord ish but I'm not sure. For the start of the solo, you could do the 13 shape without the root then slide it up. He uses that shape all the time for his grunge solos. Just this with fingers 1-3.

I don't think you can see his fingering on any of the live schools but you can see him do the 13 shape to start off this anti solo at 2:07. Pretty ez.
