NMGD - New Modified Guitar Day

Bought a Silverburst Tele (MIM) at the Local GC last year, just finished the mods, Pearly Gates in the neck, Hot Lead Stack in the bridge, new pots and wiring, sounds really good!

Good point, but for those who may have a combination of MIA, MIM, CIJ guitars, it's just a delineation of source of manufacture, not an indictment of quality or worth. I have several MIM Fenders that I love, this one was a "right place, right time" purchase...

Thanks! The Duncans really make the guitar, and I've always loved the Silverburst, on just about anything! Sounds great thru a Marshall!

She does sound great, the bridge has a fuller sound, but not ice-picky, and handles overdrive very well, the neck clean has this great round jazzy sound, but with nice note definition, and also handles OD really well. I was always jonesing after those Les Paul silverbursts that came out in the late 70's? I think this is as close as I'm going to get......

I had no idea they ever made silverburst teles. That's gorgeous!! Lucky man.
