NNGD (NAMM NGD)

Strandberg was the first booth I visited when I got to NAMM. I'd been interested in one for much of 2015 but the only one within 500 miles was an 8-string so the show was my best opportunity to try one. After sitting down to play one, I pulled the trigger on an OS6 trem model. The neck carve is funky but comfortable. I can hardly wait until the brown truck brings it here!

Sweet, I'd like to try one as well. Some interesting ideas implemented in a guitar.

What are the pups in the one you bought?

Very slick, Alec! Congrats! Lets us know how she sounds and plays once you get acquainted.

I've not yet tried the OS series but that factory has put out some cool instruments over the years (they also make Schecters, LTDs etc...).

I have a Washburn-built one and while the actual build quality is flawless, there were issues with the nut on mine (had it replaced and it's all gone).

I was talking with Ed Yoon, the new Strandberg COO. He was telling me that there's only one Korean company still building guitars so pretty much all new Korean guitars are built in the same factory.

Ed also has a lot of experience establishing QC programs for a number of MI companies. It was pretty interesting talking with him and Ola at the show.

Wow, very nice! Loved the Strandbergs since I tried them at the last 2 NAMMs. I tried a great 22 fret, 6 string model with SDs. Wow! Price was a little steep for this artist.
