Nnnnoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Nnnnoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the record, I'm choosing to buy these modules (when I do) because of the clips I heard, not because what they are trying to simulate.

Re: Nnnnoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a forum for the MTS Series (grailtone I think) - they have a lot of clips posted and have links to the original clips made by Randall, the newer ones don't sound quite as accurate as the old ones. I have only tried those four modules previously listed. I would kind of like to try out a Plexi along with the Blackface. I am completely content with the ones I currently have. The XTC is a must have for any MTS series owner....it just sounds spectacular.
These modules doen't really simulate the amps they are named but have similar characteristics - certainly no lack of tone.

Re: Nnnnoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah thats where i heard those clips. So you would recommend this amp?

Re: Nnnnoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the world of gear there is good, better, best (and a few items are that are crap). Everyone has different tastes and playing styles, but the gear they use still falls into those same catagories. I would rate the RM100 as one of the best. The really nice amps may all sound different and range in price from mid thousands to several thousand dollars. The RM100 ranks up there with the "nice" amps. All the great attributes of really good tube amps with all the modern amenities. I am very surprised that they are not more popular.
