No Logo - Real or Fake '59 SH-1

I want to upgrade my cheap guitar and I want to try out the Duncan '59 SH-1. I found a used neck pickup (see the images).

I read few posts here about the missing logo and I understood that it is normal for '59s to have no logo on the bobbin. However I was expecting something on the base plate. Also the color of the base plate looks odd to me. BTW the resistance between the black hot line and the green ground line of the pickup is around 7.85 K.Ohms.

Can someone help me find out if this is a real SD '59 or a fake one packed in an original case?

Re: No Logo - Real or Fake '59 SH-1

Someone bought an asian guitar and a pair of Duncans. Swapped in the Duncans and sold you the boxes with the asian pickups. I'm sorry.

Yeah hate to say it but unfortunately, you got screwed. Couple things right off the bat, base plate isnt brass on the 59, nor do the fixed pole pieces have the grooves in them like the picture.

I am sorry, those are not Duncans. I would ask for my money back. Thing is, 59s are about the most widely available Duncans out there, and used shouldn't be too expensive. I hope you didn't give them positive feedback.
