Noiseless pickups for a Tele?

Got any recommendations for something with more of a medium output? Something that's not too twangy but somethings that's not too dark either in a noiseless pickup. I'm not into copying tones but just for examples sake, something that would get me from Eagles to Led Zeppelin.

I'd also consider using a noiseless Strat neck pickup in place of a Tele neck pickup.

Doesn't matter who makes them as long as they're noiseless.

Thanks.

Re: Noiseless pickups for a Tele?

some people love bardens so that could be a good option.

if it was mine id put a classic stack + for strat or even a sm1 firebird minihumbucker in the neck.

for the bridge the hot stack is a cool option but if it was me id get either a custom shop pearly gates for tele or the bg1400 stack

Re: Noiseless pickups for a Tele?

I rarely recommend anything other than Seymour's pickups but the Joe Barden Tele pickups are unbeatable when it comes to humbuckers in a Tele size. For single coils I always go with Duncan Antiquity for Tele. I have two Teles. Bardens in #1 and Antiquity in #2. Lew

I got a great deal on Fender SCN's. Put them and a 4 way switch in my MIM and I love it.

Try them, if you can get a deal on them.

DMZ Area Ts are awesome with the right set up. If you want rock, put them high and they can do Santana with lots of pup compression. If you want twang and dynamics, put them low and you have it. The neck Area T is possibly the best Tele pup from anyone at any price-it has excellent dynamics, sweet tone, and can drive effects like an active. What more can a guitarist want?
