Anybody ever tried one? It's an interesting idea: a rod magnet coil mated to a bar-magnet blade coil in a full-sized humbucker. Can it nail both HB and SC sounds?

Out of all the Duncans, that's one pickup I'm most interested in. I just can't drop that kind of money on a mystery pickup. I haven't seen one person here who has one.

I've always been fascinated by it myself. I'd like to get my hands on that very pickup, but with the bar magnet coil being wound fairly hot and midrangey. I too can't drop the necessary coin on something like that when I'm struggling to pay my bills at the moment.

the only one ive seen was in nokie edwards guitar and it sounded freakin awesome. the rest of the band was kinda limp but nokie had killer tone and great chops
