Up for grabs....

A 1970 Gibson ES 175 in near mint condition...this guitar is essentially NOS. I bought the body, neck and hardware from a collector in Kalamazoo a few months ago and had one of the best local luthiers, Pete Moreno, former Gibson/Heritage employee, assemble and finish it for me. It is ALL GIBSON except for the pots, pickups and switch...it is authentic with a serial # direct form Gibson in Kalamazoo.

It features a natural maple body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard with split parallelagram inlays, gold hardware, gold reflector knobs and Fralin Humcanceling P-90s.

It comes with a non-original TKL hardcase!

No issues, just like time warping back to 1970!!!

$2250 + shipping and PP

brentrocks@aol.com i have tons of references!

Thanks for looking!

Far out. I can't believe you're selling that one.

Ditto.

I'm dying over here. I want that thing so, so, so bad, but I can't afford it. Out of everything in Brent's collection, this thing is tops. Nothing would complete my collection better than this piece....argh.

Isn't that the one that was just peices? If so, that thing turned out 7 different kinds of awesome!!!!!!!!

Re: NOS 1970 Gibson ES 175

I knew this day would come...I wish now more than ever you had gone with buckers, if it had a set of nickel covered buckers it'd be on it's way to me!!!

Re: NOS 1970 Gibson ES 175

I've had enough experience with those fat hollow body guitars to know that it wouldn't work for me*, but it is beautiful and someone is gonna love it.

*the tone is good, but upper fret access makes me say nope.

There's no money on the upper frets anyways; that guitar is SEX!
