well, for the price of a mullard RI tube and a box of condoms ($30) i got the following

2 - rca blackplace 6l6gc's
1 - eh 12ax7eh
1 - GE 12ax7wa
1 - rca 12ax7a
and 1 misc US made 7025

i told the guy that he was selling them to me for much less than what he could, but i dunno, my guitar teacher is cool as hell, he bought em back in the 60's & kept them ever since, got 2 big boxes, all of NOS tubes

so, in conclusion...WOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'm partial to Siemens from the 70's, myself.

I grabbed a quad of Siemens EL-34s about 10 years ago for $100. They crush every other EL34 set hands down I've every tried (except Mullards) in my plexi.

That reminds me, there is this really old electronics store buried in this nearby city I have been tihnking about going to try to buy tubes. I bet the guy would have no idea what they are worth.
