Lift with your knees...not your back.

:D

Yeah... Im afraid this damn thing will weight too much for our wimpy guitarist backs... :D

we'll see... only hope its not on a 2nd floor or basement...

I cant wait to hear it, we already had a Hammond Porta-B driving a Leslie 147 (or 122.. we have both :D ) .. but a C3 is another beast... THESE THINGS ROOOOOARRR!

Re: Now THAT'S what I call a NICE CATCH... (gear related)

C-3's are cool! Everyone wants a B-3, so the price is driven up on those, but the later model, the C-3 is almost as good. Plus the Leslie.....147, right?
I LOVE the sound of a B-3 cranked up with a great Hammond player behind it.....it's a sound that sends chills up your spine, even moreso than a great guitar tone.

By the way, I played in a band for 4 years with a Hammond B-3, so I've carried those things up and down stairs and off the back of a truck so many time I swore I'd never have another band with one of those friggin monsters. Hammond players REFUSE to use synths because they've already learned what real keyboard tone is.

Yes, it has a Leslie 147. We already had a 147 and a 122. Real Tone Monsters!

An on-the-edge-of-overdrive spinning Leslie is MY tonal nirvana!!!

C3s are even heavier than B3s!!! 450 pounds!!! We have a Hammond Porta-B which is cool, but not as cool-sounding as a C-3. We could carry this one around, but she prefers the C3, but I'm not going to carry this!!! no way!

It was in a basement, we had to climb a 30" wide stair with that monster... I should have take some pictures !!! :D
