Darkness on the edge of Tone
Bought the dual MosFET boost that forum bro AniML built and was selling in the Trading Post. The pedal arrived yesterday and I gave it a decent workout, and then again tonight, but was able to pop my Tascam DR-1 in front of the cab and track some bits.
The pedal itself is very neatly built; breadboard (not PCB) inside, LOTS of solder points!!
The pedal has two MosFET boosts which cascade one into another. I was using it as a clean boost and both boosts engaged. I could see myself using the single stage of boost with an overdrive or another boost pedal along with it; it's a bit too subtle for my playing style.

See the clip's notes for details.
Signal chain:
Bone pick > DR Pure Blues > Lollar Imperial pickups > AniML boost > Vox Little Night Train > Marshal 2x12 with Eminence Wizards.
The boost is VERY quiet and quite organic. The LNT doesn't have nearly enough headroom to give the pedal much breathing space, especially on the neck pickup.
That being said, I really dig the pedal and it doesn't sound anything like my other go-to boosts (z.vex SHO, Thundertomate Phil Hilborne, Nick Greer Sweetback Driver).
