NPD! BBE Orange Squash Compressor

Actually, yesterday was my new pedal day. I think my board is just about complete (for a couple weeks at least) - recently got the Barber LTD and as of yesterday I received my first compressor, the BBE Orange Squash.

The BBE was super cheap ($36) and has a nice subtle effect. There isn't too much "squish" on tap, but the effect seems to be as advertised: "can't tell when it's on, miss it when it's off"

I recommend anyone looking to try out a compressor pick one of these up - BBE doesn't make 'em anymore, but they pop up online all the time it seems.

The current board (sorry about the filters, I took the picture at night so I was trying to clear it up as much as possible):

Note about the Joyo tuner: I'm replacing it. The thing broke after two months. It's cheap but probably not worth it.

I once read somewhere that a pedal board is like a jigsaw puzzle that's never finished. Seems pretty true to me.

Anybody else have one of these comps? I've heard decent things about BBE's other stuff too.

Tasty little board. What is so awesome about the BBE if I may ask?

Well I'm certainly not gonna say it's as good as the Keeley, etc. price range in terms of compressors. That said, it retains the tone of your guitar while adding just a little bit of sparkle (and of course compressing).

Mostly I love a good deal; a nice sounding, well built, true bypass compressor for less than 50 dollars gets my motor running.
