NPD: EarthQuaker Hummingbird Tremolo...returning it

I was pretty excited about this pedal at the shop, the options and sound quality are amazing. The problem is, there is a "rate" limitation. In "mode 1" you've got a rate/speed of 1-4 (these are arbitrary numbers that I made up to describe the rate). Then in mode two, which is the choppy mode, you've got 6-10. There is basically a rate/speed gap between the two modes. Not only is there no rate at "5" , but I can't put mode 1 at a rate of 10, nor mode 2 at a rate of 1. Hopefully that description makes sense.

I realize this is how the pedal was designed, but I'm going to have to trade up for another pedal that lets me have a full sweep of rates to choose from. Any suggestions? I went in looking for a Malekko because I need something small to fit on my board. I'm also considering the Black Cat Mini Trem. I am mainly using this pedal for slower to mid speed surfer tremolo sounds, but choppy high speed stuff is a nice bonus.

Maybe the Mojo Hand Bayou?

Nice range of rates on that one, I like the 3 knob layout too.

I ended up trading for this:

Great controls: rate, depth, tone, boost and a speed button (you can double/half speed it with one click).

Hmm good to know , I have been thinking of adding a tremolo to my board but will probably get the Garagetone Chopper... that pedals sounds so sweet! I have heard it from my other guitarists board
