This... It's klon-ish, but misses the mark. If you compare it to an actual klon or a more expensive klon that is known to be more accurate like an Archer, they are similar but noticeably different.

Judged on its own without the expectation it's going to sound identical to those more expensive pedals, it's a fine piece of gear; but if you've experienced the real thing or a 100% faithful reproduction and that is what you're expecting to hear, good chance you'll be disappointed.

Very true. I owned couple of Klon clones, and Soul Food is not an exact clone, however it has its own taste. I also used the Soul Food a while until I've got an Archer Ikon.

I replaced mine with an Archer as well. I thought about keeping the Soul Food around, as it does it's own thing when the gain is cranked that the Archer just can't do, but I ended up selling it to my brother instead.

Even after getting a very nice Klone in the form of the right side of the below pedal, I still considered getting a Soul Food and still might yet... But the other week I bought a standalone Klone off the same local builder...
