NPD: EQD Dispatch Master

I've been getting into a post-rock mindset lately, looking to fill more space and make tasteful note choices over playing fast licks & fills. So, I've made a few changes to my pedalboard, most notably pulling the Mobius in favor of the Flint & Micro POG. I also traded my Hall of Fame for an Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master.

If you haven't heard of this guy, I recommend looking up some of the great demos on youtube. It's a reverb/delay combo, but the best thing about it is how well the two effects are voiced. The reverb doesn't have any annoying shimmer, the delay isn't too dark or modulated, etc. They both just sound *great*.

I was just looking at the EQD website and pedal line the other day and they are made here in Ohio too. The pedals that really caught my eye were the Monarch Distortion and the one that sounds like a Organ and the three different Delays they had.

That was one of the more happening booths at this years first LA Pedal Expo, which I went to about a month ago. I love their stuff, and they know how to host a room at an expo. They had a full wet bar free to everyone who checked out their pedals. I left that room stumbling around! LOL And they were cool enough to hand me a free T Shirt, which I always wear......stickers too.

Re: NPD: EQD Dispatch Master

I bought one to go with my HT5 as I have the version without reverb. Phenomenal sounding pedal. It is digital, but analog voiced so you will never know. I blend the two for a nice subtle reverb/delay for all my playing. The way I run reverb and delay is to not be really noticeable or overpowering when on, but noticeable when I turn them off if that makes sense. It excels at that and I know you can get some radical sounds with it if you want as well. Hand built in the USA and doesn't break the bank at around $180 or so. Hard to beat.
