With the new classic rock gig for $20, I figured why not play around with it. I am going to put it between the Bohemian boost and the Dirt Clod. I want to try it stand alone, see how it sounds when being pushed with the Treble Booster and try it for gain staging with the Dirt Clod. If is is good in any of those applications great. If not a have a cool $20 paper weight or I will send it off to another forum bro to play around with.

It’s not voiced like the Tumnus with added lows, it’s more like a classic Klone.

Gotcha. For all the Wamplers I own, I don’t have either Tumnii. Might need to do something about that.

I am doing some practice before rehearsal and I am digging it. The pedal sounds great on its own when kicking in the Treble Booster for leads the touch sensitivity is over the top and the entire character of the tone gets a bit more compressed, focused and bitting. When I gain stage it with the Dirt Clod it might be a bit much for this gig but we will see. It takes me into very high gain territory. However, we do Turn the Page and start with a Segar feel with me doing the sax on the GR-33 then build and end closer to the Metalica version. The gain staging might work in that application.
The pedal is super quiet and is opening up some nice EQ options with the treble knob. This is probably the best $20 buy I have ever spent.

UPDATE: I used the pedal at practice this week, and it did about 90% of the heavy lifting. It plays great with the Bohemian Boost and is an awesome stand alone pedal on its own. As other's have said, this is a very transparent overdrive which has its merits and disadvantages. If you keep your playing clean and precise, it is all merits.
