And decided to get a better one
Joyo was only $30 at amazon
6 band with lighted faders

It's at my brother's, I gotta run get it in morning

Nice man. Im pretty happy with my Joyo Tube Screamer and Phaser. Hopefully their EQ is killer!

I've got a US Dream. Sounds warm and has great mids.
Modded Marshall JCM800 in a box.
I prefer my Jackhammer only for the onboard EQ.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the US Dream. Well worth the $30.

The EQ is very well made
Metal box solid switching
Leds on the faders when switched on

With set up as described by LTF instant Boston buzzsaw

Only regret
It has no level like the Pyle o poo
Won't let me do a clean boost

If all the sliders were kept in a straight line horizontally and moved upward, would that not be the same as a "clean" boost?

There would be some lumpiness to the actual frequency response, wouldn't there?

I recently got the Joyo compressor. It does it job well for my needs. The rest of the line sure looks interesting. It's a pity I really don't need anything...

Wouldn't that kind of be against the idea of an EQ pedal?

No global level slide - bummer. ALways nice to shape AND get louder.

But, sounds like a solid EQ if that's what you need.

How is the level when kicked in/out, and when set flat?

How is it quiet-wise, does it add a lot of noise? (It's an eq - I know it adds some, I'm talking excessive….)

I do believe the Riot cleans up a bit better from the clips.
But with distortion? Only dogs could tell the difference in a band situation.

The volume when switched on is pretty much the same as before . No real boost

It makes no extra noise
No hisses or howls
No buzzes or blats

It did make some squeal last night when I first turned it on but it may have been something connected loosely
Once I got to playing it switched on and off without incident

That eq looks nice; I too would miss the level slide.

I have a US Dream that I bought after seeing the YouTube Gearmanndude clip. It sounds outstanding. It physically feels a little cheap next to, say, an OCD but the sound is there.
