Another tube pedal. I found this on eBay and it was only $55. It comes with a 6n2j tube but you has an internal switch for replacing it with a 12ax7. It's got usual volume, gain and tone controls. With the stock tube it sounds good, has a kinda unique distortion, would probably sound good for alternative/some punk. The only downsides are it needs. Special power requirements(12v 600ma) and this particular one gets pretty noisy when you turn the knobs up. I'm going to see if that is normal In some reviews of the pedal. Definitely a good price for a tube overdrive but kinda noisy but I'm not sure if that's normal for them all or not.
 
Update! I watched Ryan's 60 cycle hum video on the little Bear g3 and his didn't seem to have the same background noise problem that mine did so I informed the seller about the problem and let him know that that was not normal for that pedal and they are going to send me another one, hopefully this one won't have a problem with the noise. Anytime I turned either the gain or tone knobs up it would introduce a very loud background noise (volume didn't cause any noise).
