TL Pedals knew I wanted one of their May a Booster treble boosts but the last one sold before I could get it. By a stroke of luck there were problems with it for the original buyer and after having a second one built and sent to him with the same issue he sent them back.
Tim asked me to test them since he'd sold his amp (he was offered a lot of money for his Bluesbreaker clone he used to test and demo pedals on). Everything worked fine... Seems something in the other guy's rig didn't play nice with the treble boost.
So, when I get paid next week, I'm bringing back one of the boosts and paying for the one in the nice looking enclosure. Someone else local yo me is either going to get a sweet discount on a May Boost in a housing that looks real nasty or he's going to rehouse it and sell for the regular price.
This thing into a crunch tone makes the amp scream. 60's and 70's tones were on tap last night.
