I got to tell you, I'm impressed. Maybe not my top lead sound but for rhythm it's pretty awesome. I guess it's all about the bass making it through.

great pedals for using fender guitars into clean fender amps. low gain settings just to make the amp feel a little gnarlier. delicious through a deluxe reverb and terrifying through a twin.leave it on. i like using a compressor upstream of it for leads. your soul food might be great in that role too.
excellent thing to have in your case when using backline amps too.

Blille, Curious if that picture reflects your favorite settings on the ODR-1 and about where 'unity gain' tends to fall.

I think John Shanks tends to use one of the non-reissue nobels pedals, generally into a Marshall set pretty clean, for his main rhythm tone when playing with Bon Jovi, and he definitely gets some consistently great tones
If you haven't checked out the Bon Jovi rig rundown it is a great watch if you have an hour or so to kill, you can hear his main rhythm tone with the non-reissue nobels at about 10 minutes in

I probably won't go out and buy one of the reissues myself, as I've got those bases covered currently, but it is great to see more of the lesser known pedals of yesteryear come back into production

Thanks for the tips!

I'll definitely check the ODR-1 into the SF and boosts.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing this, I'll check it out.

Afaik the reissue uses the very same circuit of the original.

I'm still figuring out the settings, I liked that setting but one thing I liked was its versatility.

This is from the manual and I found it pretty accurate.
