Dirt simple, dial in how much pop you want and you're done. Quiet, works great, well built with an excellent switch and did I say dirt simple. I love simplicity and this is what I have been neeeding for ages just no other boost pedals I used seem to sound like me boosted, it sounded like something else was going on. Mild boost to a fairly raging boost with a cool, very natural sounding clipping, really, really good stuff. All these Pig guys pedals are getting great reviews and they are local to me so that' kind of cool. It was delivered to the store by the owner of the company, that's service!

Used it with the Jet City and my QP loaded Tele for rehearsal tonight and I was totally digging it. I hate pedals so this is all a little weird for me. It really pushed the amp so well. Didn't leave it at rehearsal brought it home to try it with the Tweaker and see how it works. Try and do some clips this week if I can.

Only down side - you must run a wart, no bat trees

ugh the wall wart thing would kill me. a power supply for a pedal board is one thing but only one pedal? :(

glad you dig it bro. the company does make cool boxes

Re: NPD: Pigtronix Class A Boost

Well it'll likely have a few pedals to hang out with shortly.

Re: NPD: Pigtronix Class A Boost

They are about 10 mins from my house so it's kind of cool to use their stuff

Re: NPD: Pigtronix Class A Boost

That's cool. I'm glad you are enjoying it. I've had the pleasure of talking to David Koltai at the Dallas Guitar Show two different years. He is a super nice guy.

Now that you've hinted at starting a pedal board, what are you considering next?

Re: NPD: Pigtronix Class A Boost

Either a Boss or Voodoo Labs Tremolo and a Boss Floor tuner

I am living large and going big time my friends.

Re: NPD: Pigtronix Class A Boost

Looks cool but I see two downsides:

The power supply and the fact that the input/output are reversed from all my other pedals!

Re: NPD: Pigtronix Class A Boost

Yeah the power supply was almost a deal breaker but this was the pedal I have been searching for sonically. I don't know why this one? I have tried other pedals that do essentially the same thing this one just sounded like it was made for me.

Since I have no other pedals in/outs made no difference to me.

Voodoo Lab Tremolo is excellent! I had one for a while and loved it. I'm happy enough with mu amp's onboard tremolo but if I didn't have that I'd buy another VL in a heartbeat.
