So I stopped in at Guitar Center today and they had a ****load of stuff at rock bottom prices. Turned out they got a whole studio estate from a deceased musician's family for not much at all. In addition to a bunch of cool fuzz pedals and a H&K Rotosphere (I wants so bad) they had a few Eventide pedals, including a Modfactor priced at - get this - $180. That thing costs $400 new! So I put a payment on it and I'll be picking it up as soon as the 30 day hold is up. The good news is that I can sell my tremolo for just about that much, so I don't have to pay out of pocket (so to speak) and I'll have my modulation completely covered. I just printed out the manual and I'm getting to know how to use it. This is my first MIDI pedal, so I've got a bit of a learning curve. I think that once I get a MIDI controller to go with it, it'll be much easier.
