I am all set with my silicon fuzz—my Seymour Duncan La Super Rica is like a Big Muff on steroids. I wanted to add a germanium fuzz to make my double tracking in the studio sound wider and give the tracks their own distinct character. I picked up this Hiwatt Filter Fuzz, a MKII fuzz with some tone shaping and EQ built in. I’ll be taking it through its paces today.
