NPD - This one sounds horrible

Re: NPD - This one sounds horrible

i bought one of those back in the 80's... still own it... still never use it... i remember at one point Boss advertising was hinting it had the Eddie Van Halen style sound to it... lol! Inside the booklet it had sample settings, one being a Van Halen sound... oh the 80's...

i went back to using my DS1 for a few more years...

You need this:

Re: NPD - This one sounds horrible

Funny, the first thing I heard when I plugged it in and turned it up loud was a facsimile of the Black Breath sound. I'm pretty into them at the moment, probably because I wasn't there first time round.

They had an ep I really, really liked called Razor to Oblivion (I think), they changed up their style to be even more Entombed worship for the LP, which I dig, but not as much. The EP has more of a unique style to it.

Dude uses VTM's and Butchers, which is awesome.

I used to have one of those!!!!

I actually liked it for some over the top stuff...

Interesting fact...David Gilmour and Eric Clapton both have had those in their racks over the years...

Re: NPD - This one sounds horrible

I bought one cheap in a pawnshop. Then "traded" it at the same pawnshop for a metal zone 'cause I thought it sounded better...

Tells a lot about young me and guitar tones doesn't it?
