Excellent clone of an old Ram's Head. Sustain for days. Best muff/fuzz type pedal I've plugged into so far.

I would never have tried it but it was relatively cheap in the boutique Pedal world and got a 10/10 Editors Choice on Gilmourish.com Bjorn doesn't give too many of those.

Scott, you are jumping into Mr. Peabody's Wayback Machine a lot lately. What, pray tell, have you been jamming on with all of this pre-historic gear?

Re: NPD Vick Audio 73 Ram's Head

Ramsheads are cool and have a certain grainy midrangey aggression and touch sensitivity (as far as muffs go). Quite a different beast to the later green/black/silver iterations of the muff. Those are cool too tho.

Lots of Floyd-ish trippy sort of stuff. Working on the soaring leads with two note bends.

I was able to get that Ram's Head! Thanks for posting that link Scott, I've been trying to find a muff for ages.

I couldn't believe the price when I saw it, the seller was quick to respond too. it's going to sound awesome when I stack it with the vick overdriver.

Nice... I got this by a local builder. It's Ram's Head clone, but it's got a mid sweep knob that changes the centre point of the tone control. The rest of the pedals in the pic are by the same builder. I'm apparently his best customer. Too bad he shut down his shop for good on Saturday. He's got 2 pedals unsold, a clone of the Japanese Ross Compressor of the 80's and a reverb pedal. I'm picking them up this afternoon.
