Did I over do it.....yep. Do I feel guilty......NOPE, not by a long shot.
Okay, right up front, everything good you hear about the Brigadier.....BELIEVE IT. I kept hearing the statement "... great tones right out of the box.." and you know what, I did have great tones and settings..."right out of the box!" If this pedal is trying to emulate an analog circuit delay... it does it. This is the version 2, soft footswitches and stereo in. I like the new switches! Okay, its the honeymoon....let me be.
Would not have purchased the Boss RE-20 delay at its usual sell price, however, I know most of our local Best Buys with music stores are trying to liquidate inventory, so just out of fun, I made an offer on the last one they had in the display case....... they said YES, so I am now the owner of a Boss RE-20 Space Echo pedal. I have only sat down with it for about 30 minutes, however this thing really has potential. So different from any other digital or analog delay I have used. I Like it. Give me a few more hours with it and I will try to do a much better explanation of why I find it a fascinating delay pedal.
