NRED Ibanez content

I slapped this PA system together with extra gear that was hanging around the house. The case, DOD EQ, drawer and patch bay were given to me by a coworker. The power conditioner and mixer were in my keyboard rack. The power amp was in my guitar rack.

The only thing I had to buy was this Ibanez DM2000 for delay/reverb. I got it on FleaBay for $50. I can't wait to hear our singer piping through this baby tomorrow night.

I did get a deal on that rack. Those things were huge for guitar players in the 80's. I will probably pop it out of the rack and tool around with it this weekend with the guitar a bit.

I find it funny that most 80's rack gear has depreciated badly, while crappy guitars and pedals are actually fetching collector dollars. That's great because the rack gear was actually the good expensive stuff back then, and now it's cheap.

I don't know about you but I couldn't even dream of buying one of those units in the 80's.

I miss my racks and stacks but I don't miss carrying that crap around in a freaking dump truck. I used to stack 3 4x12s just to be bigger and badder then anyone else , the top ones weren't even plugged into anything. Funny how things change so quickly.Very cool man , we like !
