NSD EMINENCE AND LASE CONTENT

New Speaker Day

So I got my new speakers in
the Eminence EM12
And the LASE EVM12L clone

I compared them in my Harley Benton vertical 2x12
To the Carvin VL12 8ohm in my Monoprice 15 watt Stage Right amp

in the room the LASE sounded muted and less dynamic than the EM12 or the Carvin

I don't see keeping the LASE. It's going back
Probably get the Hempdog or a real EVM12L

Alright I reversed the polarity on the LASE
it sounds better

I'm gonna kep.it for a bit longer

Ok so the LASE speaker is going back
it is just lifeless and dull compared to every other speaker I have in the house

Dang it

it was $126 + tax i may put that towards the Hempdog i wanted to begin with

Ok question real quick

The EM12 is 100 watts
the Hempdog is 150 watts

If i put both of them in the 2x12

Then the cabinet is 300 watts right?

Certainly not 400

At the moment I have the EM12 matched with the 100 watt Carvin VL12 8ohm

That makes the cabinet 200 watts

Is my math correct?
Or am I mistaken

BTW

The extra size frame of the EM12 keeps me from putting it into the stage right combo
just too big

one 100W speaker and one 150W speaker in a cab, gives you a 200w cab. lowest wattage rating X number of speakers
