Got it used at the oldest music store in town. They tossed in a used gigbag to get me to pop for it. Plays nice, sounds great, looks awesome. Dirt cheap price, too.

Yeah, white looks very different in an actual pic than it did in my imagination.
Maybe a tortoise guard would suit this one?

My buddy has this guitar in cherry red. That came with a black scratch plate . Like most other HBs great value for money. It even has an ebony fret board.! Most unusual in this price range Tuners are 15 to 1 Wilkinson so no tuning issues

The single pick up is not that good .Barely usable and below HBs usual standard. I have normal Roswell P90s in my CT24 HB and these surprisingly good. This pup is not a true P90 being more of a stacked mini hum bucker. The guitar comes with a push pull on the tone which is supposed to give a single coil tone.

Forgot to say that a cheap Artec Alnico 5 dog ear P90 is good upgrade for this guitar .Around 25 pounds here in the UK . The push pull is now a kill switch

I have no problem with the stock unit. It sounds a hell of a lot better than the stock pickup did in my Dean Leslie West Mountain (which now sports a Wilkinson stacked P-90). I don't need any single coil hum - it's the 21st Century, you know.

I have come to realize that I'm not a double-cut guy. I am onboard with the black hardware though.

Great that you find the stock pup OK.. I finished up with my friends one in my spares box. Not that keen on the dog ear but it will probably get another chance in one of my future projects.

Yeah, they're are good value HBs, and the option of having this, a single cut or SGish shape is also cool.

There's two versions of the double cut: the FAT, which has a stacked P90, and a regular one with a non-stacked P90. The single cut and SGish ones seem to have the latter pu option only.
