Picked up this 90 model RR1 from man in moon yesterday. First piece of gear I have bought in over a year or two for myself. Always wanted one of these when I was a teenager in the 90s. Think I may find a good solid state practice amp and start playing again some. Haven't ran it through an amp yet but it feels great just noodling around unplugged.

I think I may try out the black star 10 watt amp they came out with. Small enough to sit on my desk and jam at night.

Did you sell the silver DSL?

At least the Jackson got broken in with a few dings so you can play it without worrying about keeping it pristine.

Nah, I've still got my stack,just haven't turned it on in over a year. Only place I have to keep it is in the bedroom and it is so loud, I just never play it any more. Last time I hooked it up and played was October of last year while Dad was still in the hospital.

I like the USA neckthroughs that I have had. Seem a bit chunkier than the bolt on overseas made ones.

I rode out to the music store in town this morning to pick up one of the Blackstar IDCore 10's but all he had in stock was the 20 watt combo. Said it would be in the middle of January before he had another shipment come in so I ended up ordring one through Sweetwater. Should be here in a couple days!

Ive always wanted a Soloist or a Charvel model 6. IMO they are cool looking and I love the features and all. But yeah, the necks are alil wider than Im comfy with.. Bummer...
